Kinson Camera Club

1. Membership will be open to all members of
the Kinson Community Association, who are interested in Photography. |

2. Subscription to the Camera Club will be agreed at the Annual General Meeting each year and shall be inclusive of Associate membership. |
|
3. The committee shall consist of Chairman,
Vice Chairman, Secretary, Competition Secretary, Treasurer, Programme
Secretary, SAPA Representative, immediate Retiring Chairman, and four
members, to be elected at the Annual General Meeting. At committee meetings
five shall form a Quorum. |

4. All officers and committee members are
eligible for re-election each year, except the Chairman, who shall not be
eligible for that office in two consecutive years, (unless no other
nomination is accepted). |

5. The camera club shall meet each Monday at
7:45pm or on other evenings as decided upon. |
|
6. "Special Meetings" may be
convened by requisition signed by five club members, stating the purpose of
the meeting, and submitted to the Secretary at least fourteen days before the
proposed date. Twenty-five members shall form a Quorum. |

7. A member may be expelled for non-payment
of the subscription or by majority vote at a special meeting convened for
that purpose. |
|
8. No alteration of, or addition to, the
club rules shall be made, except at the AGM or a special meeting convened for
that purpose in accordance with rule 6. |
|
9. Competition Rules shall be the
responsibility of the committee, but no change in the competition rules will
take place without members being informed on two consecutive meeting nights,
in order that rule 6 may be invoked if considered necessary, to ascertain the
feeling of the membership. |
|
10. For any proposals for AGM or Special
Meetings, two weeks notice in writing to be given to a committee member. |
